PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s Danny Chia continued to fall off the pace at the US$8.5mil (RM36.62mil) WGC-HSBC Champions golf tournament in Shanghai.

The 42-year-old carded a two-over 74 – his worst score to date – in Saturday’s third round at the Sheshan International Golf Club to be joint 68th on three-over 219 in the 78-man no-cut tournament.

The two-time Asian Tour winner opened with a 72 and then a 73 on Friday.
