Thomas wins CIMB Classic for first PGA Tour title

KUALA LUMPUR: Justin Thomas clinched his maiden PGA Tour title after prevailing in a pulsating final round of the US$7mil(RM30mil) CIMB Classic.

The 22-year-old American staved off a fierce challenge from former world No.1 Adam Scott of Australia and compatriots Kevin Na and Brendan Steele to win by a stroke at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club.
