KUALA LUMPUR: Playing in the same flight with two top 10 players in the world – American Stacy Lewis and Ryu So-yeon of South Korea – seemed to have done wonders for Malaysian Kelly Tan.

The 21-year-old Kelly got off to a fine start at the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia by carding a one-under 70 to tie for 22nd place after the first round at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club.
