Tuck Soon keeps leader in view at Asia Pacific golf meet

Malaysian amateur golfer Chan Tuck Soon at the Clearwater Bay Golf Club for the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship.

HONG KONG: Malaysia’s Chan Tuck Soon was in awe of the stunning Clearwater Bay Golf Club here. The course provides a breathtaking view of the coastal area and city centre.

And it inspired the 21-year-old Tuck Soon to raise his game as he shot a superb four-under 66 to be tied for eighth – four shots behind leader Cheng Jin of China – in the first round of the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship (AAC) on Thursday.
