PETALING JAYA: Singapore’s Marc Ong strolled to a resounding five-stroke victory at the Malaysian Amateur Open golf championship in Kuching.

The 19-year-old Marc, who went into Sunday’s final round with a one-shot lead, closed with a three-under 69 to finish on 13-under 275 at the Sarawak Golf Club.
