Arie holds steady on first day of Eagle Ridge golf meet

PETALING JAYA: It was a blustery day, with winds up to 26kph. But Malaysian golfer Arie Irawan Fauzi refused to be blown away.

The 24-year-old thrived under the gusty conditions to stay two shots off the pace after carding an opening two-over 73 for a share of fourth spot with seven others in the first round of the ICTSI Eagle Ridge Invitational at the Eagle Ridge Golf & Country Club in Manila on Wednesday.
