Arie in the lead at Harvard with a two-stroke advantage

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s Arie Irawan Fauzi shot a career-best nine-under 63 to grab a two-stroke lead after the first round of the Asian Development Tour (ADT) sanctioned PGM Sime Darby Harvard Championship.

The 24-year-old Arie reeled in seven birdies in his first 11 holes at the Harvard Golf and Country Club in Kedah before bogeying the 12th for his only blemish of the day. He recovered with three straight birdies to put himself in the front seat.
