KUALA LUMPUR: United States-based Mohd Rizal Amin must have nerves of steel.

The 30-year-old had to stay calm and composed to beat Iylia Jamil in the first extra hole playoff and grab the last of the four berths on offer in the two-day Maybank Malaysian Open National Qualifier on Wednesday.
