Garcia hires former tennis world No. 1 Ferrero as his caddie


PETALING JAYA: Sergio Garcia has turned to close pal and former tennis world No. 1 Juan Carlos Ferrero as he bids to retain his crown at the Thailand Golf Championship from Dec 11-14.

The world No. 6 Spaniard has “hired” Ferrero, the 2003 French Open champion, to be his caddie. The 34-year-old who is also a winner of 16 ATP Tour titles and three Davis Cups, retired in October 2012.
