Dad’s the drive Korda needs to be world’s No. 1

KUALA LUMPUR: There is nothing more Jessica Korda would love to do than better her father, tennis great Petr, and take top spot on the LPGA rankings.

Petr won the 1998 Australian Open and was ranked as high as No. 2 during his career. He is also the last man from the Czech Republic to lift a Grand Slam in the Open Era. He finished runner-up in the 1992 French Open and went on to win 10 ATP singles and doubles titles.
