Lewis hopes to extend hot streak at Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: World No. 1 Stacy Lewis is riding high this season having already spent 19 weeks at the top of the world rankings with three wins and sixteen top 10 finishes.

Lewis bagged the North Texas LPGA Shootout in May and both the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship and the Shoprite LPGA Classic in June. She nearly got her fourth – the Reignwood LPGA Classic in Beijing last week – but a difficult fourth round saw South Korea’s Lee Mi-rim pipping her to the title.
