Prom pips Miguel to Yeangder title

PETALING JAYA: Prom Meesawat of Thailand captured a long-awaited second Asian Tour victory after defeating Miguel Tabuena of the Philippines on the second extra hole at the Yeangder Tournament Players Championship (TPC) in Taiwan.

Prom, whose first Asian Tour win was in South Korea in 2006, birdied the last hole for a three-under 69 score to tie with overnight leader Tabuena (71) on an 11-under 277 total yesterday.
