Malaysia did slightly better at golf team champs

PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian team bounced back with a much-improved third-round display at the World Amateur Team Championships in Japan.

On Friday, Gavin Kyle Green and Low Khai Jei posted a three-under 69 and a one-under 71 respectively at the Iriyama Course for a four-under 140. Team-mate Muhd Wafiyuddin Abdul Manaf continued to struggle for the third consecutive day – registering a poor 75, which wasn’t taken into account.
