KUALA LUMPUR: Jhonnel Ababa of the Philippines bagged his first-ever PGM Tour title after claiming a two-stroke triumph at the Asean PGA Tour co-sanctioned Penang PGM Championship.

The 30-year-old, who headed into Saturday’s final round at the Penang Golf Club with a three-shot cushion, kept his composure to sign off with a three-under 69 to finish on an 18-under 270.
