R. Nachimuthu shot a five-under 66 to climb to the top of the leaderboard with a nine-under 135 on the second day of the Kinrara Closed Championship.

PETALING JAYA: R. Nachimuthu let nothing hinder his concentration as he moved to the top of the leaderboard at the PGM Tour’s Kinrara Closed Championship on a rain-interrupted second day at the Kinrara Golf Club in Puchong.

The seasoned player shot a five-under 66 to climb to pole position on nine-under 135, which gave him the clubhouse lead by a stroke over Shaaban Hussin, who himself had a good day, firing a 69.
