Late charge by Sasi not enough as Nicholas bags Kelantan title

PETALING JAYA: M. Sasidaran recorded the season’s best score on the PGM Tour when he fired a 10-under 62 on the final day of the RM160,000 PGM Kelantan Closed Championship but it was not good enough for him to land the title.

Instead, it was Nicholas Fung who bagged the title at the Kelantan Golf & Country Club in Kota Baru with a final round 67 for a 12-under 276 total – three strokes ahead of Sasidaran and R. Nachimuthu, who came home with a 69 on Saturday.
