PETALING JAYA: The 2013 edition of the Iskandar Johor Open will be moved to a later date this year to coincide with the coronation of the Sultan of Johor.

The Johor Golf Association (JGA), along with IMG, the owners and organisers of the event, announced yesterday that the 2013 edition of the event will not go ahead at the end of the season as originally scheduled.

The event began in 2007 and has grown significantly, attracting some of the world’s best golfers to Johor and this will be continued this year with the seventh edition of the Asian Tour event. The new date will be confirmed in the next few weeks.
