Iylia takes two-shot lead in Pahang Classic

PETALING JAYA: The low-scoring trend on the PGM Tour continued at the Lanjut Golden Beach & Golf Resort in Rompin when Iylia Jamil fired a six-under-par opening round to take a two-shot lead in the Pahang Classic on Friday.

Having shown good form in recent weeks and keeping up the run of low scores on the local circuit, Iylia shot a 66 to lead Mohd Amli Mohiyadeen and Khor Kheng Hwai by a couple of strokes after the first day of the RM150,000 event.
