LONDON: Bernhard Langer remains on course to avenge last year’s Senior Open misery as the German earned a share of the lead after Friday’s second round at Royal Birkdale.
Langer led by one shot into the final round of the tournament at Turnberry 12 months ago, but mistakes on the back nine meant he had to settle for a share of sixth place behind winner Fred Couples.
