Siddikur aims to end title drought after snatching lead

PETALING JAYA: Bangladesh’s Siddikur is confident of ending his three-year title drought on the Asian Tour after snatching the third round lead in the Queen’s Cup at the Santiburi Samui Country Club in Thailand.

Despite the overwhelming support for home favourites, the 28-year-old Bangladeshi stamped his authority by firing a four-under 67 yesterday for three day total of 11-under 202 – and a one-shot lead over Thailand’s Prayad Marksaeng.
