Sabah and Melaka draw 1-1 in Super League match


PETALING JAYA: Sabah and Melaka have shared the points after their Super League match ended 1-1 at the Likas Stadium on Friday (Aug 29).

After a drab first half, Sabah's Ajdin Mujagic gave the hosts the edge when he scored in the 61st minute.

But Melaka were not leaving empty-handed and equalised in the 85th minute, thanks to Irfan Zakaria.

Meanwhile, it was another draw at the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium in Paoi as Negri Sembilan came from behind at home to draw 2-2 against Kuching.

The visitors got the lead first through Danial Asri just seven minutes in and teammate Ronald Ngah doubled the lead three minutes into the second half.

Negri launched their attack late into the match, with Ghanaian Joseph Esso reducing the deificit in the 79th minute.

Negri then got their equaliser in injury time with centre-back Luis Enrique Nsue from Equatorial Guinea making sure his side walked away with one point from the match.
