Selangor, with a record 33 Malaysia Cup titles, will battle four-time champions Pahang in a two-legged contest starting at the Temerloh Stadium.
Five-time champions Kedah will face a strong challenge from four-time champions Kuala Lumpur, who last claimed the title in 2021 before Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) won consecutively in 2022 and 2023.

Teams failing to reach the quarter-final will automatically enter the MFL Challenge Cup 2024-2025.
JDT are the current champions, having defeated Terengganu 3-1 in the final at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on Dec 8.
