Olmo on the go

MUNICH: Dani Olmo did not start Euro 2024 as part of Spain’s first choice side, but he has become very vital in how the three-time champions finish the tournament.

The 26-year-old Leipzig attacking midfielder replaced the injured Pedri against Germany early on in the quarter-final and contributed to both of Spain’s goals in a thrilling 2-1 extra-time victory.
