Soccer-De Roon ruled out of Dutch squad for Euro 2024

AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - Midfielder Marten de Roon has been ruled out of the European Championship after being injured playing for Atalanta in the Italian Cup final, the Dutch football association said in statement on Monday.

The 33-year-old Atalanta midfielder suffered an undisclosed muscle injury two weeks ago in the final, which his club lost 1-0 to Juventus, and will not be fit in time for the tournament in Germany.
