PETALING JAYA: Kuala Lumpur coach Miroslav Kuljanac may have started the pre-season with a win by beating Melaka 3-0 easily last week, but he was far from happy.
The Croatian wants better possession and decision-making calls from his team, especially at the attacking front.
And in order to beef up those areas, Kuljanac said they would hire two foreigners as a midfielder and a centreback to complete their side for the Super League starting in May.
It’s believed that the players are from Eastern Europe.
“Our boys want to make quick passes but I want them to be patient with their approach. They have to be smarter in making decisions at the attacking line,” he said.
“I want to put at least one quality foreign player each in defence, midfield and attack. We need a team with depth in the Super League,” he said.
“With the right tactics and quality players, we can elevate our game.
“We can’t just have about 14-15 players available for every match day, we need options. And I’m glad that we have a few youngsters who are coming up.’’
With a solid team, Kuljanac hoped they could give a good showing this season.
