National duty comes before honeymoon for Syamer

Football comes first: Syamer Kutty Abba (right) will shelve his honeymoon plans to join the national football team’s Asian Cup challenge in Qatar.

PETALING JAYA: Footballer Syamer Kutty Abba has put his honeymoon on hold to give priority to his preparation for the Asian Cup in Qatar from Jan 12-Feb 10.

The 26-year-old Syamer had to postpone it as he was one of the players called up for national duty for the Asian meet.
