PETALING JAYA: The Harimau Muda made a winning start to their AFC Under-23 Asian Cup qualifying campaign by beating Bangladesh 2-0 at the Chonburi Stadium in Thailand.

But E. Elavarasan’s boys were forced to sweat it out by Bangladesh before grabbing the three valuable points as they struggled to break the deadlock in the opening match of Group H.
