Devan’s Deer get their kicks with Super surprise

PETALING JAYA: The Super League has an unlikely table topper. Newly promoted club Negri Sembilan are now top of the top division standings after six games with 14 points, thanks to their latest 2-1 win over Sarawak United at the State Stadium in Kuching on Friday.

The Golden Hornbills first took the lead through Cambodian midfielder Boris Kok in the 51st minute but the Deer fought back when French centreback Herold Goulon converted a penalty in the 64th minute and five minutes later, Brazilian striker Matheus Alves scored the winner.
