MADRID (Reuters) - Real Madrid head into Sunday's LaLiga encounter with Sevilla hoping to stamp their authority on the title race by defeating one of their main rivals and building on their one-point lead over surprise package Real Sociedad at the top of the table.
A dominant Real cruised to a 4-1 away victory over Granada last Sunday, while second-placed Real Sociedad and Sevilla were both held to draws in their matches against Valencia and Alaves respectively, to hand the advantage to Carlo Ancelotti's side.
