Northern giants share the spoils

PETALING JAYA: Perak and Kedah shared the spoils after both sides held out to a 1-1 draw in the Super League at the Perak Stadium in Ipoh on Saturday (April 17).

The Seladang first took the lead in the Northern Derby when Guilherme De Paula headed Careca's cross home in the 57th minute.

However, a quick counter-attack by Kedah in the 79th minute saw their Liberian striker Kpah Sherman scoring his sixth goal of the season.

Kedah dropped down to third from second with 17 points, while Perak are ninth with nine points.
