Sabah settle for Sarawak’s Lucas as coach for new season


KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Football Club (Sabah FC) announced Sarawakian Lucas Kalang Laeng as their new head coach, charged with leading the squad’s 2021 Malaysian League campaign.Sabah FC chief executive officer Datuk Verdon Bahanda said the club considered several candidates to fill the vacant position of head coach of the Tambadau squad and Lucas was selected based on his ability and experience.

The post was vacant with the departure of head coach Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto, who did not have the Pro A licence.
