(Reuters) - Football clubs in England are being at best being ignored and at worst victimised by the UK government during the COVID-19 pandemic, English Football League (EFL) chairman Rick Parry has said.
Parry made the comments in a letter to Oliver Dowden, the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport. A copy of the letter has been sent to all 72 of the EFL's clubs, who make up the three divisions below the Premier League, and was first reported by the Times on Wednesday.
