LONDON (Reuters) - West Ham United have captured Algerian winger Said Benrahma on a season-long loan from Championship (second-tier) side Brentford with an agreement to make the transfer permanent, the Premier League club said on Friday.

The 25-year-old was linked with a permanent move on domestic deadline day as Hammers manager David Moyes looked to get a deal over the line before the transfer window shut at 5pm local time but in the end he has joined initially on loan.
