PETALING JAYA: When it comes to giving up RM30,000 or three points, Petaling Jaya (PJ) City skipper K. Gurusamy (pic) will gladly fork out the money and keep the points.

The Pheonix were slapped with a RM30,000 fine by the Malaysian Football League (MFL) on Thursday for failing to provide a venue for their Super League clash against Terengganu on March 14. And Guru is glad the team have averted a major disaster.

Terengganu had been hoping the three points from the match would be awarded to them but the MFL board opted to just hand PJ City a fine.
