Safee to players: Act with responsibility when league resumes

PJ City's Safee Sali (left) was blocked from JDT's Mauricio Santos (second left) from making a shot during their Super League match at Petaling Jaya Stadium last night. IZZRAFIQ ALIAS / The Star. April 13, 2019.

PETALING JAYA: When Senior Minister (security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced that contact training will start from July 15, it was music to Safee Sali’s (pic) ears.

The Petaling Jaya City striker, who is also the Professional Footballers Association of Malaysia (PFAM) president, soon started visualising hitting the back of the net with his customary bicycle kicks and using his brute strength to barge past defenders.
