PETALING JAYA: National Under-19 striker Luqman Hakim Shamsudin who is poised to leave for Europe to play for Belgium side KV Kortrijk, has promised that he will be no flash in the pan. The teenager burst into the spotlight in the 2018 AFC Under-16 Championships, where he finished as the top scorer with five goals despite playing only two matches.
He was linked with several other clubs, including Japanese side Cerezo Osaka, but the youngster, who also helped Malaysia reach the 2019 AFF Under-18 Championship, finally opted to join Kortrijk.
