PETALING JAYA: The decision to resume the M-League on Sept 1-2 by the Malaysian Football League (MFL) will give the national team space to get back their competitive edge before their 2022 World Cup-2023 Asian Cup qualifying campaign.

The players need to get their momentum back as soon as possible before the World Cup qualifiers, although they will be playing a hectic seven matches in the league within a short time, said national team skipper Aidil Zafuan Abdul Razak.
