PETALING JAYA: Before the season started, French-Ivorian striker Guy Gnabouyou had signed to play with Premier League side Kuala Lumpur. However, before he could even don the City Boys jersey, he was told he was not needed. KL wanted a midfielder instead.
Gnabouyou tried his luck with Sabah and the former Olympique Marseille ended up playing in the higher Super League, making his debut in the team’s second match of the season against Felda United.
