PETALING JAYA: The budget cuts that the Police team have to live with may prove costly – they just lost a key player they had in their training squad.

The cash strapped Cops who are testing out several imports to strengthen the team have lost their midfield dynamo S. Veenod on the same day that they decided to sign former Selangor striker Antonio German.
