(Reuters) - Everton interim boss Duncan Ferguson expects the club to appoint a "top manager" to replace the sacked Marco Silva, although the 47-year-old said on Friday that it was his dream to manage the Premier League team one day.
Everton sacked Silva on Thursday with the club 18th in the standings having lost nine of their 15 matches and promoted former striker Ferguson from the coaching staff for Saturday's game against fourth-placed Chelsea.
