Azam taking great pains to ensure Pahang get into Cup final

Fingers crossed: Pahang’s Nor Azam Azih (centre) is racing against time to shrug off an ankle injury ahead of the Malaysia Cup semi-final return leg against Kedah on Saturday.

PETALING JAYA: Pahang midfielder Nor Azam Azih is praying hard that he will not have to go through the pain barrier again in the Malaysia Cup semi-final return leg against Kedah at the Darul Makmur Stadium on Saturday.

In the first leg at the Darulaman Stadium in Alor Setar last week, the playmaker had to rely on painkillers in the 3-3 draw.
