PETALING JAYA: National striker Syafiq Ahmad has credited team work for his sensational hattrick in Malaysia’s 6-0 win over hapless Sri Lanka in a friendly match.

The 24-year-old was on target in the ninth, 76th and 89th minutes while Malaysia’s other goals were scored by Shahrul Saad (14th), Norshahrul Idlan Talaha (17th) and Mohd Akhyar Abdul Rashid (51st) to complete the rout at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on Saturday.
