BUKIT JALIL: Malaysia huffed and puffed but fell to a 2-1 loss to the United Arab Emirates in the second round of the 2022 World Cup-2023 Asian Cup Group G qualifying match.

Malaysia started the match on a high note when Syafiq Ahmad scored in the first minute but Ali Mabkhout’s brace in the 42nd and 74th minute earned the visitors three points at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil last night.
