PETALING JAYA: Regular wingers Safawi Rasid and Mohamadou Sumareh have a fight on their hands to retain their position in the Malaysian football team.

Coach Tan Cheng Hoe has nine players plying their trade on the flanks and he is expected to trim down the numbers after tonight’s friendly against Jordan at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil.
