Sandro’s in his element as Selangor start Cup campaign

PETALING JAYA: The Malaysia Cup is one tournament where Sandro Mendonca (pic) seems to have a knack for finding his scoring touch.

The 35-year-old Selangor striker-turned-midfielder from Brazil proved his mettle by guiding Kedah to Malaysia Cup success in 2016. In his other forays for Kedah in the same tournament, he netted eight goals in 2015 and nine goals in 2017.Known for his pile-driving free-kicks and visionary passing from the middle, the Brazilian hopes to replicate his scoring form for the Red Giants whom he joined this year.
