PETALING JAYA: National football coach Tan Cheng Hoe’s job hangs in the balance despite meeting his Key Performance Index (KPI) target.

Cheng Hoe guided Malaysia to a very creditable runners-up spot in the just concluded AFF Suzuki Cup. From ranked outsiders, the Harimau Malaya upset the form book to set up a showdown with Vietnam in the two-legged final.
