Premier League condemns discrimination and asks fans to show respect

LONDON (Reuters) - The Premier League has acknowledged that a small number of fans have behaved "unacceptably" at matches and urged supporters to conduct themselves in a respectful manner in light of recent alleged discriminatory incidents.

Chelsea banned four supporters this week pending a police investigation into alleged racial abuse of Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling in the sides' league fixture last weekend.
