Injured Akhyar in a rush to recover

TEENAGE sensation Akhyar Rashid is racing against time to recover in time for Malaysia’s last-16 football match against Japan tomorrow.

He picked up a knock and aggravated his groin injury after a vicious foul in the 3-2 loss to Bahrain in their final Group E match on Monday.
