Ex-lawyer jailed nine years for CBT


KUALA LUMPUR: A Sessions Court here sentenced a former lawyer to nine years in jail for criminal breach of trust involving the sale of a house.

Sessions Court judge Azman Ahmad passed the sentence on Yap Ooi Lye, 38, after the accused changed her plea to guilty when the case was brought up for mention here on Tuesday (July 10).
