JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - The two bids chasing the right to host the 2026 World Cup have entered a frenetic last fortnight of canvassing while anxiously awaiting a potentially decisive report on their suitability.

The joint North American bid of Canada, Mexico and the U.S. is the favourite to win when the member associations of world soccer's governing body FIFA vote at its Congress in Moscow on June 13 a day before the opening game of this year's tournament.
